Complaints are FREE

Yes, complaints are FREE too.  Be thankful for them!

No one really likes to deal with complaints or problem situations.  It can be uncomfortable and even stressful. 

These “problem” situations are golden opportunies to improve customer service.  They force you to really examine the situation (and what went wrong) so that you can take the necessary steps to ensure that it doesn’t happen again.  They also provide fantastic training opportunities for your staff and management team.

From personal experience, I know that you can create valuable repeat clientele as a result of an effectively resolved “problems.”  When you show genuine concern and appreciation for the customer’s dissatisfaction and you follow through to complete satisfaction, your customer will be pleasantly convinced that you truly care about their experience.  This is what compells customers to return.   

Remember, brilliant training opportunities are often disguised as complaints.  Always thank your customers for bringing issues to your attention.  Never forget that Appreciation is FREE as is Listening.
